I invite you to meet your voice in shapes and frequencies you perhaps haven't encountered before. This workshops introduces a range of experimental vocal techniques — grunting, fry-screaming, high-pitched resonances, onomatopoeic sequences, yoddeling and other textured vocalities in a playful environment. Participants will explore
DEVAMIway's how these sounds live in their body and how they can be shaped into performative and choreographic material. No prior vocal training is required; only curiosity and a willingness to make noise!
